Leinsweiler

Those, who don’t know yet the delicacies of the Pâtisserie Rebmann, get to know them on a guided tour through the village.

You’ll find out the sights of the little, romantic village with 400 inhabitants: in the centre are the historical town hall, which was built in 1619, the 3-Pipe-Well (3-Röhren- Brunnen) of 1581 and the Zehntcellar.

The Martins church (Martinskirche), which was built in the 13th century is the home of the Leinsweiler music weeks in September and October, you’ll find in town.You get to know the mostfamous inhabitant of the village: Max Slevogt, a German impressionist. His descendants and his home have got unique draws and wall paintings, which can be visited.

During the wine season there are 2 festivals (on the 3rd weekend in July and on the 3rd weekend in August).

For walking fans, there are 7 different trails around the village. In 2005 there will be an offer of different walking tours and levels for all walkers together with the village Eschbach.
